The School of Alberta Ballet and Brookfield Residential have partnered to present five ballet performances in Brookfield Residential communities in Calgary and Edmonton this spring. Brookfield Residential’s Let’s Dance program will entertain families and community members while providing education fundamentals and arts enrichment to children.

Each performance utilizes the talents of students from the School of Alberta Ballet along with a professional ballet instructor. Brookfield Residential’s Let’s Dance program will introduce ballet to children through storytelling and interactive creative movement. The children then actively learn dance steps and ballet mime. To finish, the children share their own stories through creative movement. Look for the Brookfield Residential’s Let’s Dance program to hit community residential associations starting in spring.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Alberta Ballet this year to bring a completely new experience to our communities in Edmonton and Calgary. We are dedicated to raising the quality of life for our residents and creating new ways for them to connect with their neighbours – we know that the Let’s Dance program will bring the community together through the creativity and imagination of dance,” says Gisele Danis, Vice President of Marketing and Communications – Alberta.

“As an Alberta-based company, we know how vital it is to invest in our cities and make them even better for the people who live here. We’re happy to be able to partner with Alberta Ballet this year, to bring something special to our homeowners.”
