January 6th, 2017

at the TELUS World of Science – Edmonton January 13 & January 14, 2017

Edmonton, AB – January 6, 2017 – Part science, part rock n' roll: Jay Ingram and his band, The Free Radicals, will entertain adults and children alike with back-to-back performances in the Margaret Zeidler Star Theatre on Friday, January 13 and Saturday, January 14, 2017, at the TELUS World of Science –Edmonton (TWOSE). By way of stellar beats, sure to rock the planetarium dome, Ingram and his band will help you experience space exploration, with an emphasis on the planet Mars. See images collected a century ago, and listen to radio from the 1930s. Move through the decades and watch significant art and science exploration from the 1950s onward. The planetarium is the perfect venue for this particular visual and sonic expedition.

Accompanied by such characters as:

•Percival Lowell, the man who popularized the idea that a dwindling Martian civilization builtcanals on Mars.

•H.G. Wells and Orson Wells, and the famous The War of the Worlds 1938 radio production.
