From Earth to the Universe: Opens Friday, July 1

TWOSE is excited to add a new planetarium show to its roster. From Earth to the Universe explores humankind’s journey of celestial discovery, from the theories of the ancient Greek astronomers to today’s grandest telescopes. For centuries the night sky, both beautiful and mysterious, has been the subject of campfire stories, ancient myths and awe for as long as there have been people and a desire to comprehend the Universe may well be humanity’s oldest shared intellectual experience. Yet, only recently have we truly begun to grasp our place in the vast cosmos.
This show will also include staff scientists providing live insights and answer questions from the audience as part of the planetarium show experience. The staff will include a look at the night sky in the Edmonton area.
From Earth to the Universe opens Friday, July 1, and is included in Science Centre Admission. From Earth to the Universe will play daily throughout the summer and is for all ages.
