Published six times per year, Edmonton’s Child is the source for news and information about issues, classes, activities and support for families in Edmonton and the surrounding communities.

Our publication gains its strength and credibility from its local roots. Each issue carries a local monthly calendar of events and strong coverage of local issues written for Edmonton and area parents of children ranging in age from prenatal to the early teens.

The cornerstone of our publication is editorial focused on parental empowerment. Our guiding philosophy is that information and support are essential for parents so that they can make the decisions that are best for them and their families. For this reason, Edmonton’s Child donates the space for our Parenting Classes, our Edmonton Care’s column and a variety of sponsorships as a service to our community.

Edmonton’s Child is targeted to Edmonton and area families, particularly those with children birth to early teen, as well as health care professionals, care givers, child care experts and educators.

Edmonton’s Child has a print circulation of 45,000 and a readership in excess of 90,000 families (and growing!).

Our distribution network is designed to grow with Edmonton families. It is available to parents free of charge at a variety of key locations including prenatal classes, maternity shops, infant retailers, pre-schools, public libraries, doctors offices and clothing, toy and book stores.

And if parents have missed it at any of these locations, they will also be able to find it at dozens more including key stands at IGAs, Canada Safeways, Co-op Stores, fitness facilities (pools, arenas and leisure centres), plus a variety of agencies that provide support and education to families, our advertisers, supporters and friends.
