December 6 & 13: 11:00 am The Varscona Theatre presents The VIP Kid’s Show - Saturday
Morning Fun for Children. A whole
new tradition is buzzin’ where a new series for
children young and old can enjoy a Variety show, an Improv
show and a Puppet show all rolled into one. Each 45 minute show promises to be
jam packed with music, comedy and puppets. The ticket price is just $5.00 no

December 6: 2p.m.-5p.m. Hay Rides with Santa! On the first three Saturdays of December (December
6, 13 and 20) you are invited to join Santa Claus on a FREE horse drawn hay
ride at The Marketplace at Callingwood located at 178
Street and 69 Avenue. You will also
enjoy a coupon for FREE hot chocolate from Dairy Queen and a complimentary

December 2–7: Alberta Opera Musical Theatre for
Young People presents Little Red Riding Hood. This is Alberta Opera’s newest production which
tackles the difficult issues of “bullying and fitting in”. Within the walls of
a small woodlands elementary school, two students just can’t seem to get along.
The trouble between the exemplary Little Red Riding Hood and the delinquent
Wolfgang worsens when they leave the school ground and Little Red finds herself
confronted by the bully along the path home. For more information and/or

November 27-December 7: The Arden
Theatre presents Seussical. The beloved characters of Dr. Seuss are brought
to life in this fantastical musical adventure for all ages. These classic,
colorful tales are seamlessly brought together by Jojo,
a young boy and “thinker of strange and wonderful thinks”! Hilarity ensues as
the much-loved characters of Horton the Elephant, The Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, Lazy Mayzie and all of
the Whos of Whoville

Citadel Theatre. The Christmas
tradition continues with this astounding retelling of Dickens' classic. Come
