As Red Deer’s most outrageous festival, CentreFest brings street performers from India, Japan, New Zealand, the US and Canada to Red Deer to perform spontaneous street theatre. Performances are appropriate for the entire family and include comedians, jugglers, stilt-walkers, face-painters and more. Visitors can buy handmade arts and crafts along Artisan Avenue. August 12 – 14: Steel Wheel Stampede
You won’t want to miss this great semi-pro rodeo action in Stettler! Cowboys and cowgirls from across the west will be coming to give all they’ve got! Includes a parade on Friday, beer gardens, a pancake breakfast, and the rodeo performances!

Come to Sylvan Lake for a music-filled week-end! Jazz at the Lake kicks off the weekend on Thursday with a swing dance and concert and keeps the music coming all weekend long!
